Lake Wallace

Lake Wallace is a freshwater lake located in Edenhope in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. The lake is named after William Wallace. In 1866, Australian cricketer Tom Wills trained a team of Aborigines on the lake's banks.

Edenhope War Memorial

The Edenhope War Memorial was unveiled by Senator Brigadier General Elliott, D.S.O., D.C.M., D.C., D.M. on the 2nd September 1922. The memorial is a life sized figure of an Australian soldier on a column which contains the names of all the returned soldiers of the Edenhope District as well as those who made the supreme sacrifice in World War One.

Now Dach’s a Gallery

In the heart of sheep, wheat and kelpie country in the West Wimmera Now Dach’s a gallery is now open to the public.
The museum houses a dachshund collectables; old advertising and a wall of old time movie stars, musicians and their dachshunds. Dotted around the museum are interesting trivia facts about dachshunds in all situations including both World Wars.
