Lake Wallace is a freshwater lake located in Edenhope in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. The lake is named after William Wallace. In 1866, Australian cricketer Tom Wills trained a team of Aborigines on the lake's banks.

The memorial is a life sized figure of an Australian soldier on a column which contains the names of all the returned soldiers of the Edenhope District as well as those who made the supreme sacrifice in World War One.
